Blanche Lemmon

Blanche Lemmon, 89, of Tamaroa, passed away at 7:18 P.M., Thursday, December 26, 2002 at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.
Blanche was a homemaker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tamaroa and Pinckneyville Eastern Star.
She was born December 23, 1913 at Tamaroa, IL, the daughter of Ed and Ethel (Brown) Smith.
She married William R. Lemmon on April 14, 1933 at Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on October 17, 1983.
She is survived by one daughter - Mary Ann Brandon of Tamaroa, one son - William Ray Lemmon and wife Carolyn of Marion, one sister - Vivian Lewis of Du Quoin, five grandchildren - Alexis Wilson, Chad and Brad Morgenthaler, Dustin Brandon, and Melinda Lemmon, and four great-grandchildren - Justin, Lindsey and Matt Blue, and Gordon Wallin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Larry Lemmon, one brother - Everett Smith, and two half sisters.
Funeral services were at 1:30 P.M., Sunday, December 29, 2002 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Raymond Baggott officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Saturday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery at Pinckneyville.
